We have one of these pianos as well! Currently in Iredell county. Fine upright, but can’t find much about it. My mother somehow acquired it in the early early 90’s when I was little.

City Memorial Hospital became Forsyth Memorial Hospital when it moved to Silas Creek Parkway. You might try there for records from City Hospital. It is now called Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. There is also a nurses’ association, which might keep records on the training program participants.

there used to be a wood stove there and whenever my grandpa visited from indiana he spent most of his time there smoking cigars and talking to the guys. this was in the early 60s

We kids used the store as home base when we played kick the can in early 1950s. Usually at night when traffic was slow.

I most certainly remember this photograph of the Lincoln Theater and The Lafayette Theater around the corner on 4th Street in front of the Reynolds bldg. As an adolescent I went to both many times and I especially recall those great hot dogs!
