  3. My family use to have a drug store in Winston Salem. My father would come home from a business trip with pastries we always called Winston Salem’s. I never knew where they were from. Then I discovered Dewey’s a few years ago but never coudl put the connection of the past to this bakery. Then I saw a photo of Patterson’s Drug Store next to Dewey’s Bakery. It was a photo in a restaurant near Wake Forest. I found the photo on your web site. How can I get a copy that I can frame?

I remember one Sun. afternoon our Aunt Alice invited me to go to the Moravian service at Christmas time and I remember how special it was to get the Moravian coffee and buns. I was probably around 11 years old. It was a wonderful experience for me.
